Remember that if your pension check is mailed to you from either the State or Teachers’ Board, you must notify your respective board of any address or deposit change by the 15th of the month in which you wish to have the change made. Otherwise, the board cannot process the change in a timely manner, and it will not be made until the following month.

While some may prefer to have a check in hand, most members have their pensions deposited directly into their bank accounts.
