SEPTEMBER 21, 2012: Members turned out, by the hundreds, at the Annual Meetings, first in Randolph and then in Pittsfield for those living in Western Mass. “While the western meeting has traditionally been held in Pittsfield, this was our fourth year at Lantana’s in Randolph,” according to Association Meeting Coordinator Leo Delaney.

“And, with the room there filled to capacity again this year, we won’t be moving to another location anytime soon.” At Lantana’s, members enjoyed a special segment that celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the State Board of Retirement.

State Treasurer Steve Grossman hosted this segment. It included award presentations by him to several retirees for their outstanding public and community service.

“We want to thank our members for making both these events a tremendous success,” continued Delaney. “The invitation is always extended, so here’s hoping to see you next year.”

A full report on the annual meetings, plus plenty of photos, will be in the upcoming November issue of the Voice.
